I. ORIGIN OF THE CRUSADES

Common Grace: I believe I first learned the term "Common Grace" from Presbyterian brothers who collect all the Scriptures pertaining to God's love & blessings for the common unregenerate man under this heading.

"He sends His rain on the just and the unjust..." etc.

Special Grace: And this is the term employed to refer to all those Scriptures that speak of God's love & blessings reserved strictly for those who are in Christ.

"If any man keep my sayings, my Father will love him...." etc.

Universalism: The cancerous doctrine that actively ignores the distinction between the above two.

Since the 30-70AD age is likened to the 40-year Exodus,
the 70-1070AD Millennium is likened to the age of Possessing the Promised Land during Joshua, Judges & Kings.

Beginning with the Lord's Return around 70AD:

This is the FIRST RESURRECTION. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

2 Peter 3:8
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that ONE DAY IS WITH THE LORD AS A THOUSAND YEARS, and a thousand years as one day.

The Dead in Christ = the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands.
The Rest of the Dead = the souls of everyone else who had died.

Christ raised up first HIS MARTYRS from the Nero-Beast Tribulation (the Dead in Christ) at the start of the Last Day.
And THE REST OF THE DEAD were raised up at the end of the Last Day to their sentence of Judgment.
